Devon is one lucky little beagle boy. He has been waiting his turn at heart worm treatment, but found out at the last minute that he was testing negative! It was like a reprieve from the Governor! Devon was found south of Houston as a stray and taken to a local shelter where HBHR found him. This 4 y/o boy is around 14 inches tall and a chunky 26 pounds.

Devon has great house manners and has never had an accident in the house. He leaves things alone that do not belong to him. He has been crate and dog door trained. He currently has the run of his foster home without any problems. His one real vice is his love of chewing on hoofs! They can be pretty smelly, but he usually enjoys a good chew out in the yard!

He gets along with the other beagles in his foster home. He enjoys a group rabbit chase and a rare bit of beagle wrestling, but for the most part is happy to be discovering new smells on his own! Devon will be very happy as an only dog who never has to share his prized hoofs again!
