My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Poppi, a 2 year old terrier mix, came to Hawaii Dog Foundation from Joey's Feline Friends (who rescued Poppy and her 2 cat siblings). Once in our care, we discovered Poppi hada pretty bad case of heartworms and set out to treat it. It's been several months now and things are going well. Poppi is quietly recovering and spending time with her 2 foster cat siblings (the place she feels most comfortable). She enjoys her humans as well, but almost everything else scares her and will take time to get used to (kids and other dogs). Poppi is a pretty shy girl, but we think once heartworm treatment is over, her life of discovery can/will begin. if you're interested in meeting her, please go to Hawaiidogfoundation.org and fill out an adoption application to meet her.
