We are a team of dedicated volunteers who are extremely passionate about each and every greyhound. We are devoted to giving as many as possible the opportunity to retire in a caring home.
Come Meet Our Pets...
We have Meet & Greets all around Middle Tennessee. We also attend many other events around the area as well. Please visit our website for Meet & Greet locations, dates, and times.
Our Adoption Process...
Our adoption fee is $250. We require an application to be sent in for review and we strongly suggest reading the book "Greyhounds for Dummies" as it contains a lot of useful information regarding this unique breed. Afterwards, a phone survey will occur within a week or two after we receive the application. If all is approved, a home visit will be scheduled where we will bring 2-3 dogs that we feel will be a good fit for your environment, based off of the questions from the application as well as the phone interview. If one of the dogs picks you (which we all know is what happens!), the $250 adoption fee will be due at the time. With the fee, you get a retired racing greyhound who is current on shots, and maintenance medications such as heartworm and fleas/ticks, he/she has been spayed/neutered, microchipped, dental, and complete physical exam. You will get your 1st month of heartworm medication, a weeks worth of dog food, and a standard martingale collar and 6ft lead.

NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter!
Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures,
