Hello, I am Cambree and I am a 4 year old Australian Shepherd. As you can see I have beautiful blue merle markings along with crystal blue eyes. I also have no tail but I hear that is normal for my breed. I weigh about 71lbs but I am overweight. I ended up in rescue when my time was up in a small shelter. I remember just laying in the corner of the shelter with my head down..I mean I knew my time was running out and no one wanted me. On top of everything I also had some mammory tumors and a horrible skin infection. I ended up being one of the lucky ones though because I had a guardian angel looking out for me an ended up in this rescue.
They are making sure I get the best care possible and have an appointment to remove those tumors and get spayed as soon as my skin clears up. I walked right into my foster home like I had been there for forever. I quickly learned the routine and am having an Aussietastic time! I am good with other dogs, cats, and kids. I love rolling around and getting nice and dusty....I actually have a funny story. My foster had given me a bath one night and had me squeaky clean and when she let me outside right before bedtime I almost gave her a heart-attack because I came in covered from head to toe in dirt. What can I say, I can be a rascal at times ;)
I walk well on the leash and am completely housebroken. I enjoy being around my people but am not clingy. I am fine with having the run of the house even if no one is home and am just looking for a wonderful place to call home. A few walks or trips to the dog park would probably be good as well, help me get rid of some of this extra weight :)
