Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Layla is a 6 to 8 month old sweetheart who came to the shelter as a stray. After a few days at the shelter she went to a foster home on July 1st. She quickly adjusted to life as a house pup and warmed up to her foster siblings within a day of her placement.
Layla is approximately 20 pounds, is house and kennel trained, and shows no food aggression towards the rest of her pack. While gets along with all of her siblings, she has taken a special liking to her foster brother Bear, a 60 pound Lab-Pit Bull type mix. She thoroughly enjoys running and wrestling with Bear and snuggling with her foster mom.
Layla is on monthly preventative flea, tick, and heartworm medication and her once patchy fur is growing out full and soft.
Dog adoption is 130.00 and includes spay/neuter, heartworm testing, age appropriate vaccines including a 3 year rabies, health exam, deworming, and microchipping. Any animal 6 months or older is considered an adult. No animals are vetted until they are adopted as we do not have a vet on staff. Once the animal is adopted we make a vet appointment, and they must go to be vetted before they can go home with an adopter. Call 985.651.7387 for more information regarding adoption.
