PLEASE READ THIS PROFILE AND THE REQUESTED CRITERIA BEFORE CALLING OR SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION. THANKS FOR YOUR ATTENTION AND CONSIDERATION

MEET BAILEY! This precious cream colored with silver tips, 12 lb, 5-6 yr old Lhasa X is too sweet for words. She was at the Harbor Shelter and sat there over the weekend with no interest 🙁 We saw her, perfectly healthy and no issues, and said “let’s blow this pop stand” and we went to take her home! In a freak accident at her foster home, Bailey injured her eye and it had to be removed. While she is still getting used to it, she is doing great and still is a very loving and affectionate dog. She loves to look out windows and if she isn’t doing that, she is following you around or cuddling with you in bed! She runs after toys, but isn’t sure what to do with them…but she loves them! She will bark to alert, but she is not a yappy dog. She is quiet and pensive and when she really wants to show you how appreciative she is, she will give you little gentle kisses. One thing is, she does NOT like being left behind and she will let you know it. Bailey would be great in a family with older kids (over 8 yrs old) or she could be in a household with or without kids and another dog for company. A home with a backyard and someone around would be ideal. Most important, having another dog or two and a human in the home most of the time is what she needs. A mature home with retirees would be wonderful! Overall, she is good with everyone…loves to go on walks and do all the things dogs love to do! Can she do them with you?

Our website is updated daily. Please do not apply for this dog unless your home fits the specified criteria. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, groomed, vet checked, dewormed, deflea'd and come with a leash, collar and ID

UPDATE!!!! Lhasa Happy Homes will be now holding our adoption events most every Sunday at ROVER KENNELS on Main Street in Santa Monica (check calendar link below for special events and directions). Rover is located at 2116 Main Street, in Santa Monica, CA. Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the dogs and see which might be a perfect fit with your household. Main Street is famous for its innovative shops and is close to the beach! Make a day of it!! Metered parking on the street and free parking on 4th and Bicknell Streets.

Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the dogs and see which might be a perfect fit with your household....and do some fantastic shopping at the same time! Please do call us if you are coming to see a particular dog to make sure he/she will be at adoptions (we do not bring sick dogs to our adoption events). Please bring a copy of your application and pictures of your home and yard if we have not done a home check! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!

Don't forget to check out our Events Calendar for more information on upcoming events!

See our home page for more details about our adoptions at Lhasa Happy Homes
