My story

George needs a home! Location: St. Louis, MO.

This poor guy can't catch a break and we're hoping you can change that for him.

Meet George, an extremely loving guy. His foster mom says he is a "perfect cat" and "just a pure pleasure to have around." But he's not not been given a fair shake in life. People were feeding him but left him behind when a motel housing homeless people was closed. The next blow for poor George occurred when bulldozers began destroying his habitat as the motel was leveled for new construction. George no longer had a (somewhat) safe environment and, on top of it, he was limping. Kind volunteers took George to the to the vet, who treated his leg injury. There, he tested positive for FIV.

Many people don't realize that FIV+ cats can lead lives of normal duration and quality. Please ask us for details! George is very likely to be around purring for a long time to come.

A true lap cat, George deserves a good home where he can share his loving personality.
