Jobby is super sweet girl, gentle and loving! She’d greet everyone with a happy wagging tail and big kisses. Jobby and her sister Jersey are under loving care and training in foster home. They learned to take walks on leash and learning basic commands. Jobby is passionate and has an easy going personality. She gets along well with everybody, especially loves to play with children. She enjoys being around playmates, but can also stay by herself. She shows special kindness toward cats, and even shares her food with them. But with large size dogs, she keeps guard, and has to be introduced to them with ease. Please watch her videos to learn more about this love bug!

About Jobby’s rescue:
Jobby and her sister Jersey were strays. Their life on the streets had been difficult, because their skin and bone figures told it all. The rescuer took them to the vet to have them neutered. Their pleasant personality and friendliness touched the heart of all staffs in the hospital. The rescuer decided to place them with foster home and prepare them for adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jobby, a San Mateo Labrador Retriever/Shiba Inu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shiba Inu for sale in San Mateo, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shiba Inu dog from a breeder in San Mateo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Mateo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Mateo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shiba Inu breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shiba Inu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Mateo paves the way for another one to be saved.
