Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sara is a cocker spaniel whose owner died so she needs a foster or forever home right away. Sarah is an AKC American cocker spaniel. I do not have any papers on her however. She was born in August of 2003 and weighs 22 pounds. She is good with kids, dogs, and cats--in fact she likes cats and finds them fascinating. She is house trained and is crated when she is left alone. Sara plays in bursts with the other dog. About twice a day they tear around the yard chasing each other. Sara is a very sweet and gentle dog. And she is very smart. She will trick the other dog, when the person is in the kitchen and they think there might be treats, by running into the living room and barking out the window so the other dog comes running and barking and looking out the window. Sarah will sneak back into the kitchen and hope she gets all the treats! She is not afraid of loud noises like thunder or firecrackers. She likes to sleep or sit in high places, much like a cat. She prefers to lie on the coffee table when a perfectly good couch or chair is available. She sits on the table on the deck or on the railing of the deck. She seems to have a very good sense of balance. Sara is receiving treatment for an ear infection and will need to have medication administered twice a day. She is spayed and completely up to date on all shots and vet care. Her adoption fee through her 501c3 rescue is $200.00 to partially cover her veterinary care. THERE IS NO FEE TO BE A FOSTER HOME!!!!! We provide everything you need to foster our dogs.
