Facts about Marley ~ The Dream Cat

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Black (Mostly)
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
Marley is an affectionate Tabby with the sweetest little face that is a magnet for kisses!! She is a social girl who is not shy and will come right up to you for pets the first time she meets you. Marley is very cool and very laid-back. She likes dogs, cats and kids too! That is why we call her the "Dream Cat". She really is PURRFECT in every way!

Marley is silly and playful. She zooms around the house after balls and goes crazy for catnip and feather toys. When she is tired, Marley is a total love bug. She will crawl into your lap on the couch and loves to snuggle in bed with you.

Marley is losing her home due to no fault of her own. She has been a beloved and well-behaved pet. Her owners had their first baby and work long hours and just don’t have time for her. They've had her since she was a kitten; she is now 4 1/2 years old. Marley is about 10-12 lbs., healthy, spayed and vaccinated. She has lovely green eyes, unique markings and a soft, dainty meow that will melt your heart.

Potential adopters must agree to sign an adoption contract and a home visit to ensure Marley goes to safe & loving home. Call 216-316-2409 to meet Marley the “Dream Cat” for endless love and laughs!

About Foster Parents for Pooches

About Our Rescue Group...

Foster Parents For Pooches is a 501(c)3 non-profit dog rescue group established in 1994. We are a small network of volunteers that rescue and rehabilitate homeless dogs from the streets of Cleveland, Ohio. We also save dogs from local shelters and take them into our foster homes, oftentimes within hours of being euthanized. In recent years we’ve been rescuing cats/kittens too. We take care of all medical needs, provide training as needed, and find them loving families. We also work with people who give up their pets, for whatever reason, by giving appropriate advice on placement and listing their pet on our website.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Come visit our adoptable animals by appointment! You can meet our animals in a comfortable home environment.

Our Adoption Process...

Please note: You must be at least 28 years old to adopt a dog from us - unless you are able to demonstrate a mature lifestyle. We are not able to adopt to renters, sorry!

Adoption fees typically range from $100-$200 and are used to pay for spay/neuter, vaccinations, flea & heart worm medicine, vet expenses and supplies for our rescues.

The prospective owner must agree to a screening process that includes an application, phone interview, pre/post adoption home visits and the signing of an adoption contract. Our goal is to find the best match for our dogs and their new families, so that everyone lives happily ever after.

We prefer homes who want to go to an obedience class. Training strengthens the bond and trust that you have with your dog, and it's fun, for both of you! Dogs like to think and to be mentally challenged. Contrary to what many people think, they don't want to be couch potatoes. The training you do together will be an investment in the future.

For more information please email. We will respond within 12-24 hours. Please be patient, we all have full time jobs and are busy with other rescue matters.

Thank you!
