Willa's Story...
Just arrived from Istanbul, Turkey! With her fresh new haircut, this stunning 5 year old girl is ready to forget her sad past and is looking toward a bright future with a loving family. Willa was found in the rural area of Izmit where she was discarded by a city shelter. Her foster family reports that she is basking in all of the love they have to give her, and she eagerly returns the affection. She is super sweet and easy going.

If you're interested in adopting Willa, please submit an application which can be found under "Our Dogs" at www.kyrasrescue.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Willa, a Washington Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Washington, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Washington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Washington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Washington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Washington paves the way for another one to be saved.
