- Terrier Mix - 2 Years Old - Spayed Female "Nervous Nelly"
Jill is quite the character! She would much prefer to be in your arms than exploring her new surroundings and she responds very well to verbal encouragement. Jill can be nervous of new people at first but quickly climbs into the nearest lap. Unfortunately since she needs to learn how to be independent giving her attention at the right time is imperative to helping her develop confidence. Therefore letting her climb into laps isn't always in her best interest. Jill had puppies recently and now that they've found their new homes she is looking for hers. Like a lot of new moms Jill has been fierce in her protection of her babies and that has led to some possessive behavior around food and toys. She lives with another dog currently but may prefer to be an only dog. Please talk to an adoption agent if your interested in Jill.
My adoption fee is $350.00!
Please note: In order to ensure a smooth and successful adoption, please remember to check all the basic requirements for adopting before coming in to the shelter at adopt-a-pet/adoption-process. Thank you and we hope to see you soon!
