My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cookie is a female Shih Tzu/Poodle mix about 3 ½ years of age. She is a nice size family dog weighing 13 lbs. In June, she had 5 puppies and weaned her puppies a couple of weeks ago. Cookie has a soft wavy, white coat with some beige accents and light grey highlights on the ends of ears. She was surrendered by her owner to our rescue before the puppies were born. Cookie has a super sweet, mellow personality. She likes everyone and gets along nicely with other dogs. When Cookie is out in public, she is calm and friendly with everyone she meets. This calm, sweetheart is obedient inside and outside her foster home. She likes people of all ages and gets along with other small dogs. Cookie would be fine as an “only” pet as long as her family had time to enjoy her companionship. She adapts quickly to new surroundings and is agreeable with just about anything. She is house trained as long as she is taken outside every couple of hours. Cookie is a friendly little dog and will make an outstanding choice for a companion pet. She is ready to meet her new forever family!
