My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am an affectionate 8 year old, Calico cat named Charley who loves to be around adults and children. I really like to cuddle and be petted but not by surprise and not so much along my back. If you do that to me I may scratch but only because I don’t like that. At night I sleep in a snuggly kitty bed but would be happy to sleep with you too! I am content to be indoors and watch the outside world from a windowsill. I am very healthy but could use more exercise….perhaps chasing a laser toy.
I lived with a Golden Retriever in the past and now spend time with another family’s bulldog when they come to visit. At first, I’m shy but after a while, I warm up to the chasing game. I spend my day playing with my pet toys but the best part of the day is when my owner comes home from work. I eat dry food, twice a day and keep myself well-groomed.
I was lucky to be rescued by my owner when I was abandoned as a kitten and am hoping I’ll be lucky again to find another great home! Serious allergies have developed in my family which is why I need to find another family, we’re all very sad about this and hope someone special will like what’s special about me!
