Facts about Cinder

  • Color: White - With Black
  • Age: Senior
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Female
Cinder is approximately 9-10 years old. But don't let her age fool you!! She doesn't act a day over 5. Amber and her litter of puppies (one being Cinder) were taken into a rescue after being in a house fire many years ago. Cinder received severe burns in the fire and has some scars remaining. Amber was not injured in the fire. We took Amber and Cinder into our rescue in 2016. They haven't been a minute of trouble since they arrived. They like to go out and potty and get some fresh air and then come back inside and nap on their bed and chew on their bone. Older dogs are SO easy!! They are both very low key and low energy,  although Cinder does take a playing spell occasionally. They both love everyone and are good with other dogs and cats. These girls are healthy and have plenty of life left in them. They are looking for a home where they can live out their golden years in. While the do not need to be adopted together, we would certainly LOVE it if they were. The two of them are honestly no more trouble than one. They are currently being fostered in Tennessee,  but will be transport to the Northeast to an approved adopter. Please email us at brighthopeadoptions@gmail.com for an application.

Our Adoption Process...

The first step to adoption is to send us an email. In return, you will receive a link to our online application. Upon submission, you will be contacted for a phone interview if we feel that your home may be a good for for the dog you have applied for. This will be followed by vet and personal reference checks and a home visit. Our adoption donations are between $275-$300 and the transport fee is $145. All adopters are required to sign an adoption contract.
