Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is Mardi (after Mardi Gras, as she looks like she has a beautiful Mardi Gras face mask on). She is a very sweet girl but while she is young, she is very nurturing to her first cousins (Jamba & Gumb). She enjoys being pet but gets a little impatient being held for long periods of time. She would love to be adopted with another cat, or even better with one of her first cousins (Jamba or Gumbo). She and her first cousins are from a feral colony in West Covina and were scooped up at a very young age and are completely socialized and very loving, playful, and affectionate. As of this post (August 1st), Mardi is approximately 9 weeks' of age. They have all had their first set of shots, have tested negative for FIV/FELV, have been dewormed, and had flea treatments. They will be spayed/neutered prior to being placed in their forever home. Please read below for our adoption protocol:
Save A Kitty, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) kitty rescue. Our adoption process is as follows: We require a completed application (please go to: http://www.saveakittyca.org/adoption-application.html), a home check, and an adoption fee (with the amount depending upon the kitty). We will also discount the adoption fee, if an individual adopts 2 kitties at the same time. All of our kitties have been quarantined for a minimum of 15 days, had their shots, been tested for FIV/FELV, given parasite treatment, and will be spayed/neutered before being placed into their forever home.
