My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello everyone! My name is Venus. I'm a 3-year-old spayed female Terrier mix. I weigh about 15 pounds. I'm as cute as they come! Not only am I spayed, I'm also microchipped and current on my vaccines. I'm all ready to move into my forever home.

I can be a little shy at first but if you give me a minute to warm up, I will lick your face off! I'm very sweet and loving. If you have an open lap, I'll be happy to keep it occupied ! I get along with every dog I meet and I do great in play groups, so I would love to find a home with another dog.

I was brought into South LA shelter as a stray, so not much is known about my past. I waited patiently in a crate for a couple of weeks and nobody came looking for me. I thought my luck had taken a turn for the worst, until one day CageFree showed up and decided to give me a second chance at life. The next thing I knew, I was in the car headed over to their rescue facility.

CageFree has made it their mission to find me a forever home and to make sure I never spend another cold and lonely night wandering the streets. Now I'm here making new friends, getting lots of love and settling in. I truly cannot wait to meet my new family.
