My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Do you know what a group of frogs is called? An Army! Ever wanted to own your own army? Well now you can have a small army of 6 African Clawed Frogs!

There are 2 females and 4 males and we would like for them to all be adopted together as they have all grown up together since they were very small. They are approximately 5yrs old so they have another 15 to 20yrs yet to spend with you! These frogs are very unique and fun to observe during feeding time. They are also low key pet for someone who wants a pet but not a litter box to clean or a pet to walk. They are amphibious but they live in water full time and only come up to breath air.

Worried about tadpoles? No need while the males do often try to charm the females with their voice, which is quite unique to hear, the ravenous appetite of the female makes it possible for them to live together quite well. Female African Clawed frogs tend to eat their own young in the wild quite often and in captivity they always will unless the eggs are removed and placed in a special tank to grow.

Their adoption fee is $100 and includes a complete set up for them. You will get their tank, tank stand, filter, tank decorations, gravel/tank pump(to easily do water changes), scrub brush to clean tank decorations, 5gallon bucket to transport frogs, 6 - 5gallon containers to port clean water back to the tank and any chemicals and food left at time of adoption. Plus other odds and ends. They could greatly benefit from an upgraded tank that is about 10gallons larger than the 29gal they are in but they are still very happy in their current tank.

These frogs do have a special diet and housing requirements so please research their care properly before considering adoption.
