Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sweet Bear. This boy has been through a lot. I fell in love with him the moment I saw him. We would absolutely love to make him a permanent member of the family, but this means we couldn't continue to foster and help the next dog in need. So, the time has come and Bear has proven to us that he's ready to find his furever home.
While he can be shy at first, he's unbelievably sweet. He takes a little time to come out of his shell and warm up to new surroundings, but his confidence is building each day. He absolutely loves other animals and finds comfort being around other well adjusted and confident dogs. He has a blast at the dog park and loves making new doggie friends.
He would do well in a home with other dogs and preferably a fenced yard. He's great around people, but the excitable energy of younger kids might be a bit much for sweet Bear, so a home with older, respectful kids would be ideal.
Who ever decides to offer this boy a home will surely feel like they've won the lottery. He's a gem. I've fostered a ton of dogs over the years, but this one will be a hard one for me to let go.
