Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cherokee came to us from the Indian Reservation where he was on death row. Unfortunately animals on the reservation get very little chance of being adopted, and hence, they are immediately put to sleep after being in the shelter for only 1-2 days. We have been working with the reservation to allow us a chance to rescue these animals, and take ones who ever test positive for Tick Fever. A simple month of antibiotics cures this, and they can live a normal life.
Cherokee is a yorkie mix who weighs apx. 8 lbs. and is apx. 1 year old. He is a total sweetheart, gets along great with other dogs, cats and kids. He is going to make an awesome family addition.
