TRISTAN's Story...
Meet Tristan.  Tristan is a 1 year old brindle and white border collie, with
a coat somewhere between a smooth and semi rough coat.  He is Trevor's
brother.

Tristan is the more submissive of the two.  This dreamy eyed boy is a really
sweet personality and loves being around people.  He has some manners, when
he is not with his brother, Trevor.  They really should be called Frick and
Frack. Tristan is silly, whimsical, and nonsensical when he follows the lead
of his brother, Trevor.   The two of them together are like out of control
puppies and they should be separated.   However, they can be adopted
together, as long as their person can provide separate obedience instruction
to them and provides a strict regimen for them.  Tristan is gregarious and
has a happy go lucky personality.  He is well socialized with other dogs and
enjoys their company.  He is leash trained, is learning his basic obedience,
and he appears to be housebroken, as he does not mess in his kennel at
night.  He travels well in a crate in the car.

If you are interested in meeting our dogs, please fill out an adoption
application.  We require a pre-approved application to be on file before any
meet and greets are scheduled.  The electronic application can be found on
our website at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

TRISTAN, a San Pedro Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in San Pedro, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in San Pedro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Pedro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Pedro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Pedro paves the way for another one to be saved.
