Here's what the humans have to say about me:
'BODIE' is a 2 to 3 year old, handsome 56-pound yellow Lab mix. He is happy, healthy, loving and energetic. Bodie enjoys being with his people; loves belly rubs and pets, but is content to just lay down and relax near you as well. He does well with young children, cats and other dogs. Bodie has been trained to sit, shake and lay. He loves jogs, walks, swimming, hiking and camping. Bodie is so happy out at the lake or in the woods. He does well on a leash overall and has been walked more days than not, but can leash lunge toward a squirrel or pull towards an oncoming dog. He can climb over a 3 %BD foot chain link fence and run loose, so any adopter will need a 6 foot tall or invisible fence. He has spent countless hours, contently romping in his backyard with a neighbor's dog. Bodie is neutered, has been de-wormed, is current on vaccinations, on monthly heart worm preventative, crate-trained and house-trained. All of our rescued dogs have been on a nutritional regime which includes high quality food and supplements (ex., probiotics; vitamins, etc). This is done to bolster their immune systems and overall health; the result benefits their adoptive family with a pooch who has a lustrous coat, bright shiny eyes, and happy and healthy disposition.
