Here's what the humans have to say about me:
'SKYE' is a beautiful, 10 to 11 month old, 55 yo 60 lb, yellow/golden labish mix we rescued from a very high kill pound. Initially a little shy and skittish, Skye is one of those dogs that warms to you and bonds then forever. Skye is independent and alert but accepts being corrected when learning her boundaries. She is crate-trained and gets along with other dogs. She is also leash trained and will require walks, exercise, or outdoor dog activities to exhaust her curious habits. She has been enjoying running after birds and squirrels and splashing her paws in water. Yet by bedtime, she will lay her head & cuddle on her human with her big loving thankful heart. Having a natural nervous demeanor, Skye is capable of being obedient and gaining much confidence from having a safe stable home & loyal companions. Skye is spayed, has been de-wormed, is current on vaccinations, on monthly heart worm preventative, crate-trained and house-trained. All of our rescued dogs have been on a nutritional regime which includes high quality food and supplements (ex., probiotics; vitamins, etc). This is done to bolster their immune systems and overall health; the result benefits their adoptive family with a pooch who has a lustrous coat, bright shiny eyes, and happy and healthy disposition.
