Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello! My name is Frannie. I’m a 3 year old, 45 pound Golden Chow. I was left chained to a fence when my owner moved away. A neighbor unchained me and took me to the home of a rescuer.
I spent a couple of months there getting used to going inside her house. I was never allowed inside my previous “home” so it was all new to me. Now that I have experienced life on the inside, I never want to go back to a chain. Living inside is amazing! Since becoming an inside girl, I really don’t like going outside without my person. If I have to go out alone, it’s just for a quick potty break, a roll in the grass, and then I want back in. Don’t get me wrong- I love the outdoors as long as someone is with me. I’m always super excited to see that leash come out for my walks!
I am so grateful to be living in a home that I never take advantage of the situation. I don’t need a crate as I never touch a thing. I don’t get on furniture. I don’t even lay on a dog bed. The floor suits me just fine.
Since being rescued, I have lived with multiple dogs. I don’t mind coexisting with them but any kind of dog play is beneath me. I’m a true lady and ladies don’t partake in such silliness. Ladies don’t play with toys either!
Well, that’s my life story so far. How I would like my next life story to read is…I found an amazing home with someone that enjoys the simple pleasures of life like I do. Companionship, good food, daily walks, a good roll in the grass, daily brushings and a good scratch under my chin. All with someone that will never again chain me or desert me.
