Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Chase is a 9 month old, 44 pound Border Collie mix, who was surrendered by his owners who were going through a divorce. Poor Chase wasn't socialized properly and is leery of new people, more so men that women. He also is rather timid with new sounds, sights, and experiences as he wasn't exposed to much. That's the bad news! The good news is that he's still young so there's plenty of time for him to blossom into the wonderful dog we know he can be! This can be accomplished with positive reinforcement to build his confidence.
Chase is good with other dogs, walks great on a leash, and is crate/house trained. Although adults make him a little nervous, Chase absolutely loves children. He's very food motivated and enjoys squeaky toys. He loves to be loved on and will lay quietly at his foster's feet, after he's done playing.
