Gypsy's Story...
This little group of shi-tzu mixes were taken out of a hoarding situation in Texas. They are amazingly gentle, loving dogs who soak up love and attention like a sponge! Charlie is 1 years old, Lexi is 3 years old and Gypsy is 5 years old. We believe that Gypsy is the mother to Charlie and Lexi. These little dogs have so much love to give - come meet them this Saturday!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gypsy, a Lakewood Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Lakewood, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Lakewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lakewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lakewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lakewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
