My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bonnie and her brother Clyde are Miniature Schnauzers who need a new loving home. They have been through a lot in the past few weeks - the illness and hospitalization of their owner and a move from their home in Oklahoma to California. The bonded siblings are five years old, and their birthday is easy to remember - Halloween.

At 22 lbs., Bonnie is the larger of the two. She is house trained and crate trained. Sweet and friendly toward people, she is good with men, women and children and was outgoing at her first adoption showing. Although she has not had much dog company except for Clyde, she seems to be fine at meeting other dogs. We are informed that she is NOT good with cats.

Bonnie and Clyde have been mostly indoor dogs, couch sitters that watched a lot of television and didn't get much exercise. Despite that, they are pretty good at walking on leash and are enjoying running around their foster family's big backyard. They will sit for treats. They are good little dogs, real troopers who are adjusting to their altered circumstances with curiosity and bravery. Imagined threats can set them barking but they are able to be distracted and calmed. A squirt bottle comes in handy too.
