My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Jilly and I am looking for a family that is active and likes to play. I am not a hyper dog but I do like to take walks and enjoy playing with kids. I am just about 40 pounds so a perfect size for a smaller home or condo and I a great jogging buddy. While in the house, I am content to hang out in my crate or snuggle with you on the couch. I am surprisingly strong for my size so you will need to be firm with me when walking as I was bred to hunt and need to be reminded that those days are in my past. I live in a home with other dogs and cats and I get along with everyone. But mostly I really LOVE people. I will give you hugs to show you how much I love you. I am not a bid shedder and my haircoat is soft and silky. I won't need a lot of grooming but a face trim and a brush will keep me looking neat, with only occasional visits to the groomer for a haircut. I have a particular way of just meeting you and crawling up on your lap and the next thing you know you are petting me. I'm not a licker, but I do give some great kisses. So what are you waiting for.
