Malcolm's Story...
Malcolm is my name and being your bestie is my game. I love to be held, pampered and sleep next to my human. I am barely 5 pounds, born in spring of 2015 and have a wonderful very little shedding coat. I can get a bit jealous if some other dog tries to push their way in, but overall I like playing with the other dogs. If you would like more info on Malcolm, please send in your application to adopt http://chihuahuarescueofsandiego.com/adoption-application/ and my foster mom will give you a call back.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Malcolm, a San Diego Chihuahua/Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Maltese for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Chihuahua/Maltese dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Maltese breeders who help with Chihuahua/Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
