Rusty is fostered in Canton IL through United Yorkie Rescue
Rusty is 3 years and 8 months old & weighs about 9 lbs. He came to United Yorkie Rescue in August 2017, rescued from a shelter. He's a sweet, quiet boy. He was originally found along a highway as a stray at one point. What we know is he was adopted and then returned, 3 times. He has problems with urine leakage and is now on medication to see if it will help his condition. He has been wearing a belly band in the house and has had no problems. He seems house trained & walks well on a leash.
Rusty is very new to rescue so we don't have much more information to offer about him at this time, he seems to get along fine with his fur foster siblings and is a sweet little guy. It's hard to understand why such a sweet quiet little boy would be returned, except for his urine leak issue, which if we can get under control through low cost prescription medication, is no reason to be a homeless boy. Rusty is deserving of a forever home where his family provides quality food, warm bed, snuggles and if needed a belly band now and then. We'll update his status to include more as we learn more about him.
