Teeka's Story...
Meet Teeka.
Teeka was surrendered to the shelter due to the fact that she is extremely male selective. She does not do well with men at all, and we have a feeling it is because of something that happened in her past. Other than that, Teeka is a well behaved dog, who just has a ton of energy. She is very sweet, and does well with children according to the previous owner. She listens well, and loves to go on walks and does well on a leash as long as she has a harness on. She is very scared while in her cage, but once you get her out she is very sweet! Teekas previous owners said that she was spayed, and up to date on her vaccines but we do not have paperwork stating so. Come on in and meet Teeka today! A female owner would be best for Miss Teeka!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Teeka, a Taylor Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Taylor, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Taylor.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Taylor already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Taylor breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Taylor paves the way for another one to be saved.
