Here's what the humans have to say about me:
If you are interested in meeting Hartsell, please complete our adoption questionnaire at http://www.fluffbuddies.org/infoquestions.php
Hartsell, born approximately 5/2/17, is a DSH black male born in someone's backyard to a feral mom. He had two siblings who never quite got the hang of being held, or loved on. However, Hartsell is a different story. He WILL be shy at first. And scared. But once he trusts you (takes about 3 days), he becomes a pest! He will jump on your bed to be with you, jump on your computer table to be near you, follow you around to be near you . . . And his purr - loud and rumbling. Loves to be petted. An absolute sweetheart. Loves other kitties, of course, as most kittens do. Used to small and medium-sized dogs.
NOTE: No young children only because, if he is on your lap and a child comes pounding down the hall and races into the room, he will use your lap, bare legs or not, as a launching pad to try to run away as he will be so very startled. This ‘flight’ reaction is common to kitties who were not handled from a very young age.
Adoption events are held at the Fair Oaks Petco (Madison at Hazel) on Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 4pm.
