My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mortimer! Or…Morty for short. Morty is just perfect in every way! He is about five years old and is a Shih Tzu/ Lhasa Apso mix. He is about 17lbs so he is a bigger boy. Morty came to us with very bad skin due to allergies to food and fleas. His skin has healed now, but he has some skin damage due to the allergies going on for so long and being unaddressed. Morty's hair was cut real short to allow for healing, but his hair will grow out. Morty is on a grain free diet and regular flea control. He still does some itching and we are trying him on different protein sources to see if that fixes the problem; however, his itching is way better than it was and his skin is no longer red, hot and ulcerated from scratching.
Morty is just the absolute sweetest boy! He is great in the car. He loves EVERYONE! He is good on a leash/harness and just one happy dog! He loves affection but he does not have any anxiety issues. Morty is housetrained and rarely barks. We do not know how he is with cats or small children.
Morty is current on all vaccines, including rabies, he is microchipped and neutered. Morty’s adoption fee is $200. If you would like to know more about Morty and complete and application to adopt him, please email stmartinsanimalrescue@hotmail.com
