Athena was a stray dog just doing her thing…until she was rescued and gave birth to seven beautiful puppies! Sasha, Tiger, Milly, Pilly, Murphy, Willy, and Tilly brought out the wonderful mother in Athena and she has nurtured a litter of socialized, wonderful puppies, all destined to become great family dogs!

Milly has been blessed with a lovely black coat, with attractive merle coloring on her front paws—tres chic! Milly will be an energetic, athletic dog well-suited to a life with an active person, couple or family! Milly will be friendly with other dogs and enjoy trips to the dog park. She will also be smart and eager to learn! Milly might get along with cats when introduced as a puppy. The possibilities are endless and the adventures you’ll have with Milly will be priceless!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Milly, a Houston Mixed Breed (Medium) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mixed Breed (Medium) for sale in Houston, or seeking a Mixed Breed (Medium) puppy from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mixed Breed (Medium) breeders who help with Mixed Breed (Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
