Venus was actually only suppose to be with us a few days, but then she showed up to my house, I new I had to help her. She was severely malnourished, flea infested, missing hair from the mid of her back to the top of her tail, all in all- near death. We nursed her back to health the best we could with what little we had. ( I already have her giant daughter which is my dog) my husband and I just want her to live out her life happy... Because she deserves it... She's already been through so much. She just needs some one who will hang out with her. She's 12 years old... But she still plays and just wants to snuggle... She loves kids, and will protect them and your yard. When she loves, she love unconditionally. She is not a huge fan of cats, but if you introduce her to other dogs, make sure it's gradual. I wish I could do more for her... I would literally give anything to take her with me, but I can't where we are going. So just because she's old, doesn't mean she can't be the best dog!
