My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you are looking for a super sweet, feisty, senior, well look no further! Meet Flossie. She is a 9-10 yr young wire haired female, spayed, 8 lb dachshund. She is too adorable for words and pictures don't do her justice. You have to meet her to experience all her cuteness and charm.

Flossie was an owner surrender in a high kill shelter in southern Indiana. Rover Rescue swooped in and rescued her! She now has a second chance at life and love!

Flossie gets along with everyone from 1 to 100 years old. If you have a lap and hands, you have a friend for life! She is an overachiever when it comes to snuggling. If there was a snuggling competition, she would win first prize hands down!!! There is never too many belly rubs in her eyes.

She lives with other dogs and cats. And doesn't seem to care about them one way or another. She doesn't play with toys or the other dogs. People is the name of her game.

Flossie is an active senior. She loves walks and her fenced in back yard. She can't wait to go out for adventures. She does well on a leash and is a champ riding in the car. But be careful, she will want to share your seat! She is housebroken and crated when her foster mom and dad are away.

She loves to curl up under the blanket next to you when you're watching tv or if it's time to go to sleep. She is such a happy, loving, amazingly sweet gal who deserves her very own family to love her forever. Flossie is ready and waiting to meet you. . If you would like to meet this dog please call Judy at 630-669-4647. The adoption fee is $200.
