My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tootsie is Adopted

Tootsie is currently fostered in Willowick Ohio, and her adoption fee/donation is $150

Tootsie is a 9 yr old female cocker spaniel.
She came to our rescue from the Geauga Co Dog Shelter where she was found roaming the streets in terrible shape.
She had matts so big, ear infections, eye infections, mammory tumors, and teeth that were rotten and causing her pain, she could not close her mouth properly.
This poor girl was a complete mess, it was very sad.

Tootsie has had a long road, she had her dental, with many teeth removed, her mammory tumors removed and she was spayed.
Her eye infections have cleared, however her worst problem she has faced is her infected ears.
She has infections so bad, they are bacterial, and resistant to most antibiotics.
She recently went to the vet for an ear flushing/cleaning, which had to be done under anesthesia, and the vet inserted the medicine that works best to fight the strain of infection she has.
She continues to struggle with her ears, but we are hoping to be on the right track now with the proper medications to kill of the bacteria.

Tootsie is a trooper, she has been so precious through all of her health issues, surgeries, poking, prodding from vets.
She has always remained super sweet, very lovable, and always rolling over on her back to get a belly rub!!!

Tootsie never fails to have a perfect temperament through all of her issues, and we believe she will make a full recovery!!!!
Tootsie adores people, children, other animals, you name it, she gets along with everyone, she is just so Perfect!!!

Tootsie is house trained, walks well on a leash, does well when left in a crate during the day when her foster is at work, etc.
This girl is absolutely the perfect dog, and anyone who adopts her will be the LUCKY ONE!!!

Tootsie is fully vetted, spayed and up to date on vaccines.
