This dog is being fostered in Dallas TX and must be adopted within the Dallas, North Central Texas or the southern Oklahoma area.

Introducing Lucky. This little guy is a sweetheart, and is looking for a forever home to grow up in.
Lucky was found wandering the streets by a good Samaritan. It appeared as though he had been lost for a while as he was thin, and had some dental issues going on. Thank you to this loving volunteer family who scooped him up, got some vet work done (including a dental) and gave him a safe place to stay. This little guy is happy and comfortable and looking for a forever home to settle in to.
Lucky gets along great with the other small dogs in his foster home. His favorite thing to do is to play a game of chase with them. Some of his 4 legged siblings are a little bigger than Lucky, but that does not bother him at all. He is also just discovering toys! He does not bark much unless someone comes to the door with a delivery. But he settles down quickly when he knows that his family is safe. So if you are looking for a guard dog, Lucky wants to volunteer for the job!
Lucky also enjoys the outdoors. He loves to run and play in the backyard. Note that this little guy is an explorer. His adopted family will definitely need to make sure there are no holes in the fence as he can easily slip through and wander off. Lucky also LOVES going on walks. He greets everyone he meets with a lively bark as if to say "hello, how are you"!
Lucky gets along great with his foster family. He loves hanging around you and will follow you just to see what you are up to. If you have a home office - he would love to hang out with you. He also enjoys climbing up on the couch and laying next to you as you watch TV. And if you can fit some belly rubs in, he will ADORE you. This guy craves attention and so happy when he is being petted!
This guy is a handsome little fellow. He is tri-color (black, tan and white) and is a perfect 6 pounds. The vet estimates him to be about 5 years old, so he has a long and happy life ahead of him. His foster family says this is the perfect little guy with a great personality.
Lucky is smart. He is already potty trained and is great at going potty outside. He is also crate trained, but would be happy to snuggle in bed with you at night if you like that. One really cute thing we like - Lucky has the cutest little snore when he is sleeping. It is as though he is relieved that he has a safe home and he sleeps soundly and safely. We believe he is dreaming of his forever home -- is that you?
Lucky is being fostered in the Dallas, Texas area. Due to his quiet personality, we recommend an all adult home or a home with older mature children.
