My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sampson is 4-5 years old and was part of a breeding pair that was taken in by the Kingston NY Animal control after his owner died. He was outside with the other animals she collected. He is learning to come to us but needs more work. He needs to be neutered and vetted but we must earn his trust first. He will do best to be a farm type dog. It will be a couple of months before he is ready.

Then a volunteer in your area will contact you to come meet you. After the home visit the adoption coordinator will put you in contact with the foster family of the dog(s) you are interested in that are available at the time you pass your visit. . We do not have a kennel in Lee, Mass.When you meet the dog if there is a connection then you will fill out an adoption contract and take you new family member home.

We do not accept INVISIBLE fencing for the following reasons:
1) Most Pyrs ignore the pain and go through it. 2) This is a guardian breed and this fencing does not keep people or other animals out of your yard. The Pyr could take them as a threat or be attacked.

Most of these dogs are not a dog park breed. They bark a lot and can bother your neighbors.
