Lola is a 10 year old chih. She was dumped at a NC shelter, and we saved her. She is very sweet, loves kids, cats and other dogs. She is potty trained. She is healthy and in great shape to be an older dog. Her teeth are ok other than having a under bite and a tad bit of tarter. She loves snuggling and cuddling. She is not yappy and she is pretty laid back.

She is spayed, heartworm tested and on prevention, current on all vaccines and flea prevention. She is microchipped. She will receive a certificate of health from our vet prior to going home. The adopter will get all paperwork with adoption.

We require a prescreen application to adopt. You can get that on the main website at www.saveamuttkennel.info

About Save A Mutt Kennel NY

About Our Rescue Group...

Our dogs and cats are located in NC and VA until they are adopted. It is much easier for us to foster them in the location where we save them from the area kill shelters than to stress them with a very long ride right off the bat. It is less stressful for the animal to be transported straight to the adopter where they can settle in to their forever home without worrying about being bounced around the country 3 or 4 times first. We can transport to our NY location once adopted. We have several delivery points in most North Eastern States.

Attention: We DO NOT have a physical shelter. Our group is foster based. Our pets are fostered mainly in VA and NC. We can ship them to their new home once they are adopted.

We pull animals from the high kill shelters in the southern states. These animals would be put to death without our intervention. Once we secure the animals we provide spay/neuter, vaccinations, heart worm testing and micro-chipping and any other vet care they may need. We also work on any training issues that the animal may have. We are not a shelter per say, our group is foster based. Each of our animals live in a home environment prior to going to their adoptive home.
