My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

$200 ADOPTION FEE is tax deductible because we are a non-profit charity. The adoption includes: examination by a Licensed Veterinarian, age-appropriate vaccinations, Bordetella, regular dewormings, and microchipping. Champ is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, healthy, and taking flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.

Meet Champ! Champ is a 2 year old American Bulldog/Boston Terrier mix that may or may not have some bully in him. His sister was blonde and looked like a Chihuahua/Frenchie. Sadly, she was poisoned before she turned two. We have their 6 month old picture because we tried to rescue them at that time.

We had Champ and his sister spayed/neutered and microchipped 1 1/2 years ago. He's now 2 years old and weighs 43 pounds. He's a low rider. He walks well on a leash and enjoys riding in the car.  He could be a go-anywhere dog! When Champ found himself in the shelter, they scanned him and called us to help.

This dog loves everyone. He does well with other dogs and is currently living in a multi-dog foster home. Cats are unknown. Champ came from a neglectful situation and outdoor life. He hasn't bothered or soiled his foster home and we want the life of a companion animal for him. He's doing great with crate training, too! He would make a good friend to another dog and we would like him to have a fenced in yard to play safely in when he goes out to potty.

Our rescue asks for an approved application, brief home visit, and $200 adoption fee. No guarantee on breed, coat, or adult size of young dogs. Please be prepared to train or provide training classes for your dog.
