My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

17-369 Princess. Arrived 6/27/2017 at 4-6 years old.
Princess is a docile calm girl turned into us as a stray, though we had past history that led us to believe that she was turned in by her owner. Princess didn't show us any red flags in the short time that she was with us and she was very attractive to both those who saw her on the internet and those who came to meet her. Princess was and still is a shelter staff and volunteer favorite. Princess was adopted, but she was returned several days later after displaying concerning behaviors in the adopter's home. Princess did not do well with a smaller dog in the home and she did show resource guarding of a rawhide. Both of these incidents resulted in a bite. If you have interest in adopting Princess, you can come meet her but a sit down discussion with the shelter director will be necessary before an adoption can happen. Continued consultation with a behaviorist will be highly recommended.
