Here's what the humans have to say about me:

1-28-09 Alissa is in a foster home in the south with several other dogs but she wants a loving indoor environment without so many furry foster siblings. She is a bit of a dominant female so she would be best in a home as an only dog or with a male dog of her size or bigger. We'd like for Alissa to come north so please agree to foster or adopt this cutie.

11-18-08 The shelter is so full that Alissa is sharing her run with another female dog. At least she has some company - but she sure would appreciate a forever home!

Please give this girl a chance.

8/24/08: Poor Alissa. Her owner literally abandoned her at the shelter (actually threw her on the ground) in front of 3 witnesses. Sadly, she kept looking for her owner as he drove away...Despite her traumatic ordeal, she seems to be a very sweet and gentle young girl (maybe 6-8 months old???).
