Thelma says, "I'm not JUST a beautiful face!" I am playful, smart and can be quite a love bug. I am READY to leave my sordid past behind me. My new family will have the time to focus on ME! Okay, I admit, I'm a bit possessive of my food and toys. That means no young kids under the age of 8 (resident or visiting) for my home. I am not doing it to be rude, it's survival in dog terms. The volunteers at WNT want everyone safe and happy! I play hard, so I will do well in a home with a larger dog, say a boxer or lab. And I am a terrier AKA as a dog who will follow some intriguing scent. So, yeah, I need a fenced-in yard so I don't wander off. I will barrel right through an invisible fence or baby gate on my quest to protect you from something with a weird smell! A fenced yard is a MUST!

Suggested adoption donation for Thelma is a minimum of $400 and goes toward the high cost of veterinary care for our rescue dogs. Wag N Train Terrier Rescue adopts only to people living in states neighboring Nebraska and requires the adopter to travel to Omaha, NE to pick up their newly adopted dog. We do not transport or fly our rescue dogs. A securely fenced yard is necessary to adopt one of our terriers.
