Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi my name is Josie, I am a 25 pound 13 inch Beagle Princess. I am super sweet and snuggly. Being a Beagle I am also busy! I love to sniff and look around everywhere, in the house in the yard and everywhere I go I have to sniff and greet people. I am super social and loving.
I am good on a leash but will pull to follow a scent or meet a new dog or person. Can you blame me? So much to see and people to talk to and butts to sniff.
On a scale of 1-10 I am a 5 on the Beagle Noise. When I get excited or want to tell you there is a cat in the yard you will hear me baying for you. I am a Beagle after all..I do shush when you tell me to...most of the time.
My favorite thing to do is play with my roommates who are also beagles and with toys. I also love to snuggle with my foster mom and anyone else that will snuggle with me. Again, I am super social and would love parents that are also social.
My perfect home will take me on walks and to the park and downtown for lunch. Even though I am crate trained I would prefer not to be in a crate all day. I need an active family. I am not even 2 years old yet so I like to play and need to run. Give me some kids and a ball and a fenced in yard...or give me parents that hike and love to walk...I would be so happy....
I used to live outside in not so good surroundings...I will not move in with you if your intentions are to do the same. So I will only go to a home that will allow me to live inside...my house training is doing amazing and I just need to have parents that are consistent and will continue working with me. :)
