Kiko's Story...

Kiko is a sweet but somewhat shy around new people. He is currently not thriving in our home as we added a puppy several months ago and he has not adapted to this addition at all. He also does not like children and will go and hide to get away. I think he would do very well in a home with no children or dogs. He is used to another Ragdoll as a companion and they have always got along very well but I think he would also be quite happy to be the only pet in the home. I love him and want him to be happy in a home that will provide him with the secure environment that he needs. He has never been allowed outside. He likes grooming and will roll over for his belly to be scratched. He rarely makes any noise and is a good eater. He loves Bonita Fish Flakes. We have tried him on calming food and treats but he just will not accept the new dog. I have also taken him to the cat groomer and he does very well.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kiko, a Castle Rock Ragdoll cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Ragdoll for sale in Castle Rock, or seeking a Ragdoll cat from a breeder in Castle Rock.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Castle Rock already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Castle Rock breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Ragdoll breeders who help with Ragdoll rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Castle Rock paves the way for another one to be saved.
