Moose's Story...

Moose is a 3 year old blue great dane. She is very loveable and a true gentle giant. She gets into things like a typical great dane. She is great with other dogs as she lives with a male weimaraner and a female yorkie. She would also do well as an only dog. She loves attention. She is timid when you first meet her but warms up well. She walks well with her nose lead. She does have separation anxiety when being left home alone. We currently have two kids under two and she is not able to get the attention she needs. I feel her perfect home would be a family with older children, a yard (she loves to layoutside, and someone who has more time at home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Moose, a Tiverton Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in Tiverton, or seeking a Great Dane dog from a breeder in Tiverton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tiverton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tiverton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tiverton paves the way for another one to be saved.
