My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am a female Chihuahua mix. I am about 11 months old and weigh 4.5 lbs. I am spayed, heartworm negative, current on shots, micro-chipped and on flea/heartworm prevention.
My adoption is $300.

I was rescued from animal services where I was surrendered by my owner's boyfriend. He bought me as a present for his girlfriend and she moved out of state. He did not want me so he surrendered me to the shelter. I am a sweet girl but would do best in a home without children. If frightened or grabbed at, I might nip.

It is a requirement that I attend training classes at the Petsmart in Altamonte Springs. Classes are one hour, once a week, for six weeks. The cost is $119 for all six sessions!

Please email for an application. A New Beginning Pet Rescue, Inc. only accepts cash. We do not have the ability to accept credit or debit cards and no longer accept checks. The pets are available to be seen at our adoption events on weekends at the Petsmart in Altamonte Springs on Saturday from 11-4:30 and Sunday from 12-4:30.
