Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Due to state laws regarding out of state adoptions, we cannot adopt to families in Massachusetts or Rhode Island.
Jack is a wonderful dog who would love to join your family! He is super sweet and playful at only about 1 year old. Our vet thinks he is a doberman or dane mix. He's a big guy but he's just a teddy bear. He does great with dogs, cats, and children. He is crate trained, leash trained, and heartworm negative.
He is currently being fostered in Mississippi and will be transported via Pet Express transport services upon adoption. His adoption fee is $400 and includes neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, a nose to tail vet check, and transport costs.
Second Chances lists dogs as being available in Kittery, ME because we transport our dogs to Kittery every other week after they have been adopted. All of our local shelters have a high euthanasia rate due to overpopulation so we created our rescue group to primarily adopt to the northern states to help keep as many dogs as we can from entering our kill shelters.
