My name is Carson. I was in the Jasper, Texas Animal Control Facility. A new volunteer there wanted to help me find my way out so she started contacting rescues. I don’t think many animals make it out of there. So I know I am one very, VERY lucky boy. I’m told that shortly I will be ready to go to my forever home so I’m looking for my second chance at finding a real family of my own. I’m a 5 year old collie mix. House- trained and crate-trained. I do get along with the other dogs here, but don’t have a problem being your only buddy. I hear talk about cats, but I don’t even know what one is! All I want is someone of my own. I promise to be faithful companion at all times. I won’t ever be very far away. If you would like to meet me you have to fill out an adoption application. That’s how they make sure they find the right home for me. So be sure you go www.texascollierescue.org and fill out one.
Carson is a sweet, loving boy. He’s around 5 years old. He was a lucky boy to get out of Jasper. The volunteer that called us had just started there and told us there is not really an adoption program. So many dogs are put down. Which is just heartbreaking. So we wanted help both her and Carson out. The volunteer was trying to make a difference in his life and we wanted to do what we could. Carson will be very close to his person once he bonds which will not take very long. If you are looking for a faithful companion and have a lot of love to give please look at him.
